It is stocked with a good head of carp to over 20lb. Pan Lake is more of a runs water, and 20-plus carp in a 24-hour session is a common occurrence.
During the warmer months there is also some very good surface fishing to be had.
The lake also contains roach, bream, tench, barbel and perch, so it isn't just for the carp angler.
